Pathward Financial appoints seasoned executive to board

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Pathward Financial appointed Neeraj Mehta as an independent member of its board of directors. .Mehta will also serve on the audit committee and governance, nominating and sustainability committee on the boards of both holding company Pathward Financial, Inc., and its subsidiary, Pathward, N.A. .Mehta, who has nearly three decades of experience in financial services, is currently the CEO of Bellevue, Wa.-based vehicle financing fintech DigniFi. Pathward Board Chair Becky Shulman said Mehta "has driven revenue for companies and large business lines and determined and directed strategy with measurable results.".Mehta has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from Syracuse University. ."Neeraj's background in both payments and commercial and consumer lending aligns his experience well with the uniqueness of Pathward in the banking industry," said Pathward Financial CEO Brett Pharr.
