Michael Hansen retired as a director for Wauwatosa, Wis.-based Waterstone Financial, Inc. and its subsidiary WaterStone Bank..Hansen has been a director for Waterstone Financial since 2003. He chairs the company’s audit committee and is a member of the company’s board executive committee and nominating and corporate governance committee. He is expected to serve in those positions until his successor is elected to the board.“Mike has been a vital member of our board and a strong leader of the audit committee and we are grateful for Mike’s commitment to continue to serve the company as we work to identify a successor,” said Waterstone Financial Chair Patrick Lawton.
