Toby Clements was named senior executive vice president and chief operations officer at Minneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp. .Clements will oversee client service centers and global operations, leading more than 16,000 employees, and will report to CEO Gunjan Kedia. He will also join the company’s managing committee.He succeeds the retiring Souheil Badran.Clements joined U.S. Bank in 2017, most recently leading its client service center operations. He previously held executive roles at PTSB in Dublin and Tesco Bank in Edinburgh, and worked in consulting at Navigant and Barclays.He holds a law degree from the University of Southampton and an MBA from INSEAD.“Toby is a strong, engaging leader who has a clear desire to serve our clients and run our business effectively,” Kedia said.
