Dongola, Ill.-based Tri-County Financial Group President and CEO Timothy McConville resigned last week. .A reason for the resignation was not given. According to Tri-County, McConville’s Oct. 28 resignation “was not a result of any disagreement with the company pertaining to the company’s operations, policies or practices.” McConville also resigned as a director of both the company and its subsidiary First State Bank. Kirk Ross was named president and CEO of the $1.5 billion, southern Illinois-based company on Oct. 30. Ross’ banking career began in the late 1980s, and he has worked for First State Bank since 1994. He was executive vice president before being named bank CEO and president last year. Ross has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign.
