Manitowoc, Wis.-based Bank First Corporation elected Steven Eldred to the boards of directors of Bank First and its parent company..Eldred’s appointment was part of the company’s merger with Centre 1 Bancorp Inc., the parent of First National Bank and Trust. He was elected to the board on Jan. 13 and is expected to serve a three-year term following shareholder approval at Bank First Corporation’s annual meeting June 15.Eldred has more than 40 years of community banking and financial services experience. A fourth-generation banker, he spent his career at Beloit, Wis.-based First National Bank and Trust, holding leadership roles in operations, lending and executive management. He also served for more than three decades on the board of Centre 1 Bancorp.“His long-standing leadership in community banking and dedication to community engagement make him an outstanding addition to our board,” said Bank First Corporation CEO Mike Molepske.
