Merchants Bank, Onalaska, Wis., promoted Erick Maki to the newly created role of senior vice president, chief commercial banking officer..Maki will provide strategic leadership for the commercial banking team, relationship management for commercial clients across the bank’s Minnesota and Wisconsin markets, business development and specialized financing solutions in service to the bank’s long-term growth objectives.He has more than 20 years of banking and sales experience and served as a Merchants Bank regional president after joining the bank in 2022. Prior to that he held leadership roles for Bremer Bank.Maki has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Winona State University, Winona, Minn., and a MBA from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, also in Winona.
