PNC Bank Twin Cities regional president to retire, successor named

Kate Kelly will retire from PNC Bank as regional president for the Twin Cities region on Dec. 15. .Experienced banking executive Kelly McQueen will succeed Kelly as the dual leader of the bank's Twin Cities region and head of corporate banking for Minnesota. McQueen has nearly 20 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking..A former relationship manager in nonprofit health care, middle market and corporate banking, McQueen joined PNC in 2017 and was named head of corporate banking for Minnesota last year. She has a bachelor's degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.."Kelly McQueen brings the right combination of business and banking acumen, talent management and community engagement to this role," said Scott Swanson, PNC Office of the Regional Presidents Midwest territory executive. .Kelly has three decades of experience in banking in Minnesota, serving as president and CEO of Minnesota Bank & Trust, which she founded in 2008. During her six years at PNC, she has overseen the local expansion of the bank's corporate and commercial business lines along with the addition of its Asset Management Group. .Kelly also led the establishment of PNC's retail presence in the Twin Cities market with the opening of its first physical branch in 2021. "Kate's accomplishments in the Greater Minnesota area have helped us build our business and deliver for more customers in the region, and helped amplify and direct our philanthropic and community investments to drive impact," Swanson added.
