Timothy J. Franz has been named permanent president and chief executive officer of BNCCORP, Inc., Bismarck, N.D. Franz had been serving in that role on an interim basis since July 24 following the untimely passing of BNC co-founder, President and CEO Gregory K. Franz has served on BNC National Bank's board of directors since 2006 and on BNCCORP, INC.'s board of directors since 2013. Also, Eric O'Brien has joined the bank as vice president of commercial banking..Kevin Steffensmeier has joined First Minnesota Bank, Minnetonka, Minn., as commercial lending officer and branch manager in the bank's new Anoka, Minn., office.
