Pathward announces executive promotion

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Pathward Financial promoted Charles Ingram to executive vice president and chief information and operations officer..Ingram, who joined Pathward in 2020, led the company’s rebrand, infrastructure modernization and development of revenue-generating business applications. He will continue reporting to CEO Brett Pharr while overseeing technology, security, artificial intelligence, data and analytics, product management, strategic operations and business transformation.“Charles has built a team of top talent,” Pharr said. “His new title reflects our direction as we scale in an era of rapid technological advancement and the transformative power of AI.”Ingram, who previously served as EVP and chief technology and product officer, has more than 30 years of technology leadership experience in the financial sector and with well-known brands. He has an MBA from Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, N.C., and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer science from Furman University, Greenville, S.C.
