Old National Bancorp Commercial Banking CEO Jim Sandgren will retire in April after a nearly 35-year career at the Evansville, Ind.-based bank. .Sandgren is credited with helping lead the bank’s growth into a $71 billion regional institution in 10 states. He’s been president, chief operating officer and southern region CEO.“His unwavering commitment to our clients, our team and our communities has established a standard of excellence that will stand as his legacy,” said Chair and CEO Jim Ryan.A graduate of Greencastle, Ind.-based DePauw University, Sandgren also completed the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and holds a Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Association.
