Bloomington, Minn.-based MidCountry Bank promoted Aaron Vap to chief credit officer..Vap will join the Executive Leadership Team and provide strategic direction and oversight for the bank’s credit department. He has been with MidCountry Bank since 2014, most recently as senior credit manager. According to the bank, Vap has been a leader in credit analysis, agricultural, SBA lending and portfolio management. “He brings a proven track record of balancing credit management with a commitment to the success of our customers,” said President & CEO Steve Meads. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to grow and serve our communities.”Vap has an MBA from St. Paul, Minn.-based University of St. Thomas.
