Indiana bank names new CFO

First Internet Bank, Indianapolis, named Kenneth Lovik its new chief financial officer and senior vice president, effective August 18..Lovik replaces Kay Whitaker, who will assist First Internet with the transition until her departure at the end of September..During Whitaker's 20-month tenure, First Internet's assets grew by a third, and the company raised nearly $30 million in a secondary offering..Lovik joins First Internet from First Financial Bancorp, Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was senior vice president, investor relations and corporate management..Prior to that, Lovik worked in investment banking, providing financial advisory services to financial institutions, at Milestone Advisors, Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, and A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc..Lovik has a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington.."[Lovik] is joining us during a period of solid growth, and our lines of business are performing well," said David Becker, First Internet chairman and CEO.
