Independent Bank in Michigan appoints new wealth management leaders

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Independent Bank appointed new leaders for its wealth management team, naming senior investment executives Justin Cattaneo and Eric Gandy to co-manage the program..Both first vice presidents, program managers and senior investment executives, Cattaneo and Gandy have a combined 25 years of investment experience. They both specialize in investment strategy, client advisory and financial planning. Cattaneo, who is based in Clinton Township, has 15 years of financial services experience and holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Gandy, first vice president, program manager and senior investment executive, is based in Traverse City, Mich. He has more than a decade of experience in investment and wealth program management. Gandy has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Saginaw Valley State University. Gandy is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor. “Justin and Eric will bring tremendous value to our wealth management program and contribute to the continued success of our clients and our institution,” said Independent Bank Executive Vice President Russ Daniel.
