Itasca Bank & Trust Co. in Illinois named John J. Hunt president. .Hunt joined the bank in 2011 as chief loan officer. He spent more than 30 years in community banking in Chicagoland, holding leadership roles at financial institutions. Hunt will work with Chair and CEO James R. Mensching, who will over time transition management responsibilities to Hunt. Mensching, who has worked for the bank for 47 years, retired as chair of the board. “John is a strong leader who understands and values these principles,” Mensching said. “His expertise and dedication to the bank’s mission make him the right person to guide us into the future.”
