The Independent Community Bankers of America promoted Wayne Miller to executive vice president and chief innovation officer..Miller is guiding ICBA’s innovation strategy, developing and scaling solutions intended to help community banks grow. He succeeds Charles Potts. Miller joined ICBA in 2022 as SVP of innovation and is credited with leading the growth of ICBA’s ThinkTECH Accelerator, which will soon enter its 10th season. The program includes the Solutions Forums, ThinkTECH Connect pitch sessions and the Innovation Academy and Workshop. “Wayne has been a driving force in shaping our innovation strategy,” said ICBA Senior Executive Vice President of Innovation Kevin Tweddle. “His vision, energy and ability to connect community banks with technology partners have elevated the customer experience and strengthened our industry.”
