ICBA names new executives for CRA solutions, innovation strategy

The Independent Community Bankers of America announced two leadership appointments aimed at strengthening community bank support in regulatory compliance and innovation..ICBA CRA Solutions/USI Alliance named Kristine LaVigna president and CEO. Also, ICBA hired Justin Dunmyer as senior vice president of innovation and product strategy. LaVigna is tasked with advancing ICBA’s support of the Community Reinvestment Act -aligned lending and investment that strengthens local communities. She has been with ICBA CRA Solutions since 2013, assuming increasing leadership responsibilities over the past decade. Before joining the organization, she spent 18 years in investment banking in New York and later founded a consulting practice focused on helping small businesses implement growth strategies. ICBA executives said her experience and leadership will help expand programs that enable community banks to meet CRA requirements while supporting underserved populations.Dunmyer will guide ICBA’s innovation initiatives, oversee ICBA ThinkTECH programming, and collaborate with community banks to support digital transformation and operational effectiveness.Dunmyer has more than a decade of community banking experience, most recently as chief digital officer at Citizens State Bank in Indiana. His background also includes entrepreneurial experience across multiple industries, along with academic credentials in economics and business administration.
