Charles City, Iowa-based First Security Bank & Trust Chief Credit Officer Cathi Luett recently announced her retirement. .First Security hosted a private celebration for Luett on April 28. Luett previously worked for the Iowa Division of Banking as a bank examiner.“I wanted to use the knowledge I gained from my career as an examiner to benefit a local company,” Luett said. “I am proud of the credit department I have helped to build. They are in a great position for the future.” “Part of being a true leader is developing the next generation of bankers,” added President/CEO Brad Miller. “Cathi’s coaching, mentoring and development of other staff members will continue to add value for years to come.”
