Mattoon, Ill.-based First Mid Bank & Trust appointed Erik Ingbretson community bank president for its St. Charles, Ill., market..Ingebretson will lead market strategy, community engagement, and commercial relationship development, the $7.8 billion bank announced Dec. 16.Ingbretson has 25 years of experience in lending, credit, and financial leadership. He has held senior commercial lending and leadership roles for regional and national financial institutions, serving manufacturers, distributors, service companies, nonprofits and middle-market businesses.Most recently, Ingbretson was director of loan originations at Cinnaire Lending Corporation. He’s also had leadership positions at multiple community banks.Ingbretson’s “commercial lending expertise, leadership background and relationship-driven approach will strengthen our presence in St. Charles and support our continued growth across the region,” said Regional Community President Jim Pieschel.
