Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based First American Bank appointed Courtney Joyce vice president of middle market commercial banking. .Joyce, who is based in Orland Park, Ill., most recently spent nearly eight years working with middle market business owners across Chicagoland as a vice president for Wintrust Commercial Banking. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business/management from Saint Xavier University, Chicago. “Courtney understands commercial lending from the ground up,” said Mark E. Kroencke, commercial division head with the $8 billion bank. “She brings the practical experience, judgment and relationship focus business owners value.”
