Centier Bank promotes three executives

Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank promoted Donald Rome to executive vice president and chief risk officer and Joe DiNicolantonio to chief banking officer..In his role, Rome will oversee the bank's credit, enterprise and operational risk, compliance, fraud, regulatory relations, corporate insurance, governance and financial crimes prevention.He joined Centier in 2022 and has led the bank's risk division in developing and implementing risk management strategies. He has more than 20 years of experience leading risk teams at financial institutions.Rome has a bachelor's degree from Montana State University, Bozeman, and a master's degree from University of Montana, Missoula and graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School..In his role, DiNicolantonio will oversee all business lines and sales teams while leading initiatives focused on customer experience and growth.DiNicolantonio joined Centier in March 2024 with more than 20 years of banking experience. Before joining the bank, he held leadership roles at Simmons Bank and Regions Bank.According to Centier, DiNicolantonio helped lead the bank's expansion efforts, including new and expanded branches in the Indianapolis market, as well as additional locations in Fort Wayne and Lafayette, Ind..Centier Bank also promoted Brian O'Meara to executive vice president and chief administrative officer.O'Meara will oversee marketing, digital sales, customer experience, community relations, the call center, and strategic planning and execution. He will also lead the bank's integrated strategy for growth, customer experience and brand engagement.O'Meara joined Centier 2 1/2 years ago as its first chief marketing officer. He has more than 30 years of banking and leadership experience at financial institutions.
