Champaign, Ill.-based Busey Bank hired Mike Daley as chief strategy officer..Daley has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as chief accounting officer and head of investor relations for CrossFirst Bankshares, Leawood, Kan., from 2022 until it was acquired by Busey Bank in 2024. Daley served as director of finance and business line strategy since Busey integrated CrossFirst in 2025. A CPA, Daley has had senior leadership positions at other publicly traded financial institutions. “Expanding his role to lead the development and execution of the bank’s long-term strategic plan across all business segments, in collaboration with the executive leadership team, is a natural progression,” said Chief Operating Officer Amy Randolph.
