Stephen E. Johnson retired from the board of directors of Manitowoc, Wis.-based Bank First Corporation..Johnson joined the board of the company in 2019 and had decades of leadership in financial services and insurance industries, most recently as market president and CRA officer for Bank First. Before he entered banking, Johnson spent 35 years in leadership positions with Sentry Insurance A Mutual Company. “Steve’s steady leadership and practical insight have made a meaningful impact on our organization,” said Bank First CEO and Chair Mike Molepske. “His commitment to relationship-based banking and strong governance perspective helped guide our continued growth.”
