Dan Schrader joined Alerus, Grand Forks, N.D., as chief credit officer..Schrader, who has nearly 20 years of experience with a background in leadership and credit, was most recently managing director of corporate banking and head of portfolio management at Aberdeen, S.D.-based Dacotah Bank. He spent 15 years with BMO, seven as vice president of commercial banking in Minnesota and head of portfolio management. Schrader, who chairs the loan committee at Alerus, has a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
