Milan Cortina: Where the Olympics and familiar names in banking converge

Who doesn’t love the Olympics? Especially when they bring us gorgeous scenery from the Italian Alps? My love for the Games — especially the Winter Games — was born in 1983, when as a cub sports reporter working in Lake Placid, I covered several of the U.S. team trials to go to the ‘84 Games in Sarajevo. I remember covering a ski jumping competition, which took place on the hill’s two jumps — one 70 meters and the other a monstrous 90 meters. (The jumps were enlarged in 1994 to their current 90 meters and 120 meters.)
