First International Bank & Trust hosting giving campaign

Watford City, N.D.-based First International Bank & Trust is hosting its Live First Community Giving Campaign again this year. .Charitable and community organizations are encouraged to apply for awards of up to $63,000. The campaign will include one $20,000 grant. Up to six grant winners will each receive $3,000 to support a nonprofit or new initiatives from an existing nonprofit..Up to one winner from each of the 11 applicant categories will receive $2,000 each. Online applications will be accepted through April 16. Categories include:.Organizations helping animalsArts-focused organizationsOrganizations promoting health and wellbeingEducation-focused groupsHousing help and support organizationsFood-based services companiesGroups empowering people with disabilitiesOrganizations supporting at-risk individualsGroups supporting familiesOrganizations supporting natural spaces and parksGroups keeping communities safe and responding to emergencies.Three grants of $1,000 each will be given based on the most likes on each organization's original photo on the FIBT Facebook page.
