Eide Bailly elects new chair

Linda Koerselman has been elected chair for 2014 by Eide Bailly's board of directors; Kevin Doyle has been elected vice chair. Koerselman and Doyle began their one-year tenures January 23..Koerselman is the first woman to be elected chair of Eide Bailly's board. She is director of financial institutions and partner-in-charge of the firm's Mankato, Minn., office. Koerselman has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis in financial institution taxation and consulting, closely held businesses and individual taxation and small business consulting. She has become a recognized thought leader in the financial institution industry, regularly speaking at industry meetings and seminars..Koerselman has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She also is a graduate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants National Banking School at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville..Doyle is partner-in-charge of Eide Bailly's Sioux Falls, S.D., office. He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, with expertise in the areas of audit, corporate and cooperative taxation, forecasts and projections, mergers and acquisitions, and depreciation studies. Doyle specializes in serving utility and telecommunications companies.
