Stearns Bank provided $2,500 to each nonprofit, while FHLB Des Moines gave $7,500. The donations were through the FHLB’s Membership Impact Fund, which provides FHLB Des Moines up to $3 for every $1 in matching donations to assist nonprofits or government entities. “We are dedicated to supporting the work our nonprofit partners do every day to uplift the families, business owners and neighbors they serve,” says Bryan Toft, chief revenue officer at Sunrise Banks. “This matching grant program through FHLB Des Moines helps amplify that work to build stronger, more inclusive communities.”
