Medford, Wis.-based Prevail Bank donated $82,500 this month to nearly 30 organizations through its Charitable Contributions program. .$20,000 to the School District of Prentice to help the community host sporting events and other activities. $4,000 each to four groups, Medford United Methodist Church for the church’s Beds From Christ program; Phillips Fire & Rescue toward the purchase of a new rescue boat; United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties; and United Way of Marathon County.$3,500 to the Marshfield Area United Way for its Nutrition on Weekends program. $3,125 each to two groups, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin-Northcentral District and Junior Achievement of Wisconsin-Portage & Wood Counties. $2,500 to the Indianhead Community Action Agency.$2,000 each to a dozen organizations, Bridge Street Mission in Wausau; Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra; Community Mission with Jesus; $2,000 to Family Promise of Chippewa Valley, Wis. Family Support Center; Feed My People; Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area; the Home Repair Heroes Program; Huey Hideaway Children’s Museum; Shared Blessings; Westboro Volunteer Fire Department; Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council; and Workforce Resource, Inc. $1,500 each to three groups, Ruby’s Pantry in Wisconsin Rapids; Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Chippewa Valley; and United Way of Taylor County. $1,000 each to three groups, Chequamegon Parent Teacher Organization; Medford Area School District; Children’s Museum of Eau Claire$750 to the United Way of Marathon County.
