Port Washington State Bank in Wisconsin donated $110,000 for a new playground at Rotary Park in Mequon, Wis. .The playground, which will be near the park's south pavilion at 4100 Highland Road, is intended to provide an inclusive space for children of all abilities. Plans call for a central play structure with ramps, slides and climbing elements, along with multiple swing options, including a wheelchair-accessible swing. The playground is expected to serve as both a recreational facility and a community gathering space for families visiting the 95-acre Rotary Park. Other features will include play mounds, fitness equipment, pathways, shaded gathering areas and benches.Port Washington State Bank President and CEO James Schowalter said the bank's investment reflects its commitment to parks and community spaces in Wisconsin.
