One Community Bank awards three scholarships

Oregon, Wis.-based One Community Bank recently awarded scholarships as part of its annual program. The 2024 Scholarship Application launched in February and was open to all graduating local high school seniors..The bank, which launched its scholarship program in April 2021, received 125 applications. Scholarships were awarded to:.Hannah Saari, who graduated from Stoughton (Wis.) High School and plans to attend Mequon, Wis.-based Concordia University to double-major in history and psychology. Sydney Tasker, who graduated from Waunakee (Wis.) High School and will study aerospace engineering at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Alexis Udell graduated from McFarland (Wis.) High School and will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to major in genetics and genomics. .Applicants were required to be in good academic standing, and plan to attend a two- or four-year institution, technical or trade school, or an apprenticeship program. Applicants were required to write an essay on community service and involvement. ."By supporting these exceptional students and their education, we are investing in our communities from within," said President and CEO Steve Peotter.
