Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bank donated $190,000 last month through its Choose Your Charity program..Voting commenced in February. Old National’s online portal received votes for nonprofits across its Tennessee market. The nearly two-dozen winning organizations were required to be registered with 501(c)(3) legal tax exemption status in the bank’s participating communities. The recipients of the most votes from each Old National branch were each awarded $7,500 to support local work. The No. 1 vote recipient, nonprofit charity Live Love Nashville, received an additional $25,000, bringing the total to $32,500. “We are grateful to all those that voted for their favorite charity and are honored to play a part in funding the great work each of these organizations is doing throughout our community,” said Old National Tennessee Market President Steve Cook.
