Beloit, Wis.-based First National Bank and Trust is holding its annual School Supply Drive through Aug. 8. .The Supply Drive is a community-wide initiative intended to ensure local students have the tools to succeed in school. Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and will benefit local schools. Items include crayons, markers, glue sticks, backpacks, rulers, pencils, folders, notebooks, erasers and scissors. “This drive embodies our commitment to being a dependable community bank, working with our neighbors to make a real difference for local students and their families,” said Theresa Wendhausen, director of marketing and communications for the $1.5 billion bank. “Every child deserves a strong start to the school year, and access to basic supplies is fundamental to that.”
