Muncie, Ind.-based First Merchants Bank donated $50,000 to the Monroe Family YMCA to cut down on food insecurity. .The donation will support the Monroe Family YMCA’s Anti-Hunger Initiatives program, which provides food to local rural communities. The YMCA plans to use the donation to purchase a new food truck. “We are grateful for partners like First Merchants who share our commitment to strengthening communities and ensuring more families have access to the resources they need,” stated the Monroe Family YMCA.
