First Bank of Berne donates $5k to two local groups

First Bank of Berne in Indiana recently donated $3,000 to the revitalization of Pennville Community Park and $2,000 to the Secret Families Christmas Charity..The bank’s donation to Pennville Community Park will support work at the public recreation area, which features picnic shelters, playground equipment, sports courts and a baseball field. The park also hosts outdoor events throughout the year.“First Bank of Berne is proud to support initiatives that strengthen our local communities,” said Branch Manager Tracy Carpenter. “The revitalization of Pennville Community Park is an investment in families, outdoor spaces and the future of our community.
