Farmers & Merchants Union Bank distributes $20K to local organizations

Columbus, Wis.-based Farmers & Merchants Union Bank recently allocated $20,000 in grants to numerous local organizations for their work during the pandemic. .According to a press release, the grants, created by Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, are intended to help banks support local groups impacted by the pandemic. .Recipients included:.Prairie Ridge Health Hospital after staff provided testing and education as well as treatment to recovery for the community. Sassy Cow Creamery after the organization provided free milk and dairy products for families in need. The N.I.C.C. Foundation, which provided masks, food and recognition during the pandemic. Local schools for their work in helping students through the pandemic, including the Columbus School District, Fall River School District, Rio Community Schools, Dodgeland School District, Cambria-Friesland School District, St. Jerome School, Wisconsin Academy, Petersen Elementary, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church & School and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran School. ."As a local community bank, it has always been our mission to promote growth and stability in the communities we serve, and that is true now more than ever," said Farmers & Merchants Union Bank President and CEO Randy Bobholz.
