Fargo, N.D.-based Bell Bank worked with Drekker Brewing in Fargo and O.H.S.O Brewery in Gilbert, Az., to donate more than $16,000 to nonprofits. .The three groups each gave $1 for every pint sold of “Pay it Forward” beers. Bell and Drekker created two new beers in Minnesota, one recognizing pro hockey player Matt Cullen, the other an IPA honoring sportscaster Marney Gellner. In Arizona, Bell Bank and O.H.S.O brewed “Slice & Dice” rice beer and “Yes Chef!” amber lager recognizing renowned Chef Mark Tarbell. Bell Bank also donated $5,000 to Cullen’s designated charity, Cullen Children’s Foundation, and another $5,000 Gellner’s selected nonprofit, breast cancer research organization vraniCURE. The bank also presented a $6,800 check to representatives of C-CAP, which Tarbell selected for its work helping students seeking culinary and hospitality careers.
