The AbbyBank Foundation awarded more than $40,000 in grants to three local nonprofits..Donations from the Abbotsford, Wis.-based organization included:$37,090 to the School District of Abbotsford as part of its spring grant cycle. The funding helped replace an aging playground set with new equipment at the softball fields near its elementary school. $1,500 to St. Peter Lutheran School to add four classrooms by purchasing Smart TVs and desks. $1,000 to the Humane Society of Marathon County to replace a parking lot. $500 to Adaptive Communities to acquire recreation therapy exercise equipment for a small fitness area.
