Richland, Wash.-based Gesa Credit Union is acquiring Willamette Valley Bank, Salem, Ore. .The deal is expected to be completed in the first half of next year. Oregon Bancorp is the holding company of Willamette Valley Bank, which opened in Salem in 2000. As of May, Willamette Valley Bank had $465 million in assets, $358 million in deposits and four branches, along with one loan office. Gesa Credit Union has $6.8 billion in assets and 322,000 members across the Pacific Northwest. The price of the deal was not disclosed.Luse Gorman, PC was legal counsel while McQueen Financial Advisors was financial advisor to Gesa Credit Union.
