Warsh remains hawkish on inflation while citing resilience in banking and the economy

In his first Jackson Hole address as Federal Reserve Chairman, Kevin Warsh noted resilience in the U.S. economy while reinforcing the central bank’s resolve to reduce inflation..Describing overall economic output as solid and the labor market as stable with a low unemployment rate, Warsh also noted that underlying inflation trends have not sufficiently improved.
