First National Bank of Fort Pierre, S.D., is acquiring Wyoming Bank & Trust. .The deal is expected to close in the third quarter. The $295 million, Cheyenne-based Wyoming Bank & Trust also has a branch in Burns, Wyo. The two branches are expected to operate under the name of First Wyoming Bank & Trust Branch of First National Bank. The nearly $3 billion First National Bank has 16 branches in South Dakota and Colorado. “By joining our two well-established community banks, we will be able to better serve the growing market in the Rocky Mountain region,” said First National Bank President Craig Davis. “Wyoming Bank & Trust shares our same commitment to strengthen the financial wellness of our communities, and we are excited to partner with them to further deliver on that goal.” Washington, D.C.-based Olsen Palmer LLC was financial adviser to Wyoming Bank & Trust and Milwaukee-based Godfrey & Kahn S.C. was legal adviser.
