Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bank will lay off 244 employees at its branch in the east Twin Cities suburb of Lake Elmo later this fall..The layoffs impact a variety of professional and back-office positions and are expected to start Oct. 24 and last through Nov. 14, with impacted positions done away with by the end of next year. The branch is at 8555 Eagle Point Boulevard.The employees were once part of Bremer Bank, which merged with Old National last spring. Old National Bank informed the state of Minnesota of the pending layoffs recently in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice.
