Oklahoma City-based Chickasaw Banc Holding Co. will acquire Ada-based Oklahoma Heritage Bank in a stock purchase agreement. .The deal is expected to close late in the second quarter or in the third quarter of the year. After the acquisition closes, Oklahoma Heritage Bank will operate under the trade name of Chickasaw Community Bank. Terms of the agreement have not been released. Established in 1979, the nearly $100 million Oklahoma Heritage Bank has branches in Byng, Stratford and Ada. The family of Dr. Darryl Fisher has had controlling interest in the bank since 1984. The $470 million Chickasaw Community Bank was established in 2002 to meet the goal of Chickasaw Nation Gov. Bill Anoatubby for a tribal-owned bank to meet the needs of Indian County and the larger community. Little Rock-based DD&F Consulting Group was financial adviser for Chickasaw Community Bank, while Austin-based Fenimore Kay Harrison LLP and Tulsa, Okla.-based GableGotwals were legal counsel. Oklahoma City-based McAfee & Taft was legal counsel for Oklahoma Heritage Bank.
