Omaha-based Farmers National Corporation is acquiring the farm management business of Peoples Bank and Trust, McPherson, Kan..The acquisition adds more than 20,000 managed acres to Farmers National Corporation, increasing its statewide total to more than 400,000. Farmers National provides farm and ranch management services in nearly 30 states."This acquisition aligns with our mission to provide solutions that improve profitability and long‑term value for landowners," said Farmers National Company Senior Vice President-Farm and Ranch Management Grant Fitzgerald. "We are committed to building on this foundation and expanding the level of support and expertise available to these clients."
