Dayspring Bank, Gothenburg, Neb., is expanding in the Omaha metro by acquiring Waterloo, Neb.-based Foundation One Bank. .The deal is expected to close later this year. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.As of April, Foundation One Bank had $200 million in assets, $174 million in deposits and three branches, two in Omaha and one in Waterloo, Neb., 20 miles west of Downtown Omaha. Dayspring Bank had $1.1 billion in assets, $919 million in deposits and eight branches in Nebraska. “By bringing together the talented teams and strong community banking traditions of Dayspring Bank and Foundation One Bank, we are creating an even stronger organization that will continue investing in our customers, employees and the communities we serve for generations to come,” said Dayspring Bank CEO Karl Randecker.
