Missouri’s Alliance Bancshares is expanding in southwest Illinois by acquiring Anna-based ASB Management Corp. and subsidiary Anna State Bank. .The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year. Its price has not been disclosed. Anna State Bank has $112.3 million in assets, $97 million in deposits and a single branch. A nearly $400 million financial institution, Cape Girardeau-based Alliance Bank also has $339 million in deposits and five branches in southeast Missouri. Cape Girardeau is 26 miles southwest of Anna. Washington, D.C.-based Olsen Palmer was financial advisor to ASB Management.
