Legend Bancorp, Bowie, Texas, is acquiring Graham Savings and Loan..The deal is expected to close this fall. As of late April, Graham Savings and Loan had $156 million in assets, $106 million in net loans and leases and three branches in North Texas.Legend Bancorp is the holding company for Legend Bank, which has $1.2 billion in assets, $1.1 billion in deposits and 15 branches in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and other areas of North Texas. Bowie is 23 miles south of the Oklahoma border. Graham is a little more than an hour southwest of Bowie.Little Rock, Ark.-based Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP was legal counsel to Legend Bank, while The Bank Advisory Group, Lakeway, Texas, was financial advisor. Birmingham, Ala.-based Bradley Arant Boult Cummings was legal counsel to Graham Savings and Loan, while Hillworth Securities LLC, Austin, was financial advisor.
