Vista National Bank & Trust recently changed its name to Ventura Bank & Trust..The Harveyville, Kan.-based bank announced the change April 21. According to the bank, the name change better positions itself amid the increase in artificial intelligence. Ventura Bank & Trust learned of another bank sharing the “Vista” name showing up in an AI search. As of late January, Ventura Bank & Trust had $62 million in assets, $53 million in deposits and one branch. According to the bank, the Ventura name conveys “momentum, opportunity and favorable outcomes.” “AI has accelerated how quickly brand distinction, or lack thereof, becomes visible,” said Co-Founder and CEO Chris Williams. “That clarity pushed us to choose a name that better reflects how we match our capabilities with each client’s individual path.”
