Illinois bank to rebrand

Bank of Hillsboro, Ill., will rebrand to Constitution Bank in early September. The rebranding, effective Sept. 2, is reportedly based on the bank’s focus on relationships and community. .“The new logo, featuring a torch within a shield, symbolizes the bank’s mission: To protect what matters most while guiding customers forward,” according to the nearly $650 million bank. “The shield stands for trust and stability. The torch represents progress, purpose and clarity.” Bank of Hillsboro is based a little more than an hour northeast of St. Louis, Mo. Bank of Hillsboro recently opened branches in two Illinois cities northeast of St. Louis, Edwardsville and Hamel, and renovated several other branches. The bank is expanding into nearby Troy, Ill., later this summer, and plans to open a branch next spring in Glen Carbon, Ill. “This institution is rooted in Montgomery County, Illinois,” said Chair Jason Plummer. “Our communities know us as a bank that stands by its word and its customers. The new Constitution Bank brand reflects our history, our strength, our independence, and our vision to build something lasting, for today and for generations to come.”
