Economic growth held steady overall in the Fed’s latest Beige Book, released today. Nine of the 12 Fed districts reported growth ranging from slight to moderate while the remaining three said growth was flat to the month-ago release. The Dallas district reported “robust, broad-based” manufacturing growth driving moderate overall growth in that district. Another six districts reported modest manufacturing growth, but the others cited little or no manufacturing growth.
