Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank plans to open a second branch in Fort Wayne, Ind., this fall..The branch, which will be inside the Meijer store at 6309 Lima Road, is Centier’s first branch inside a retail establishment in Fort Wayne and is part of the bank’s broader growth strategy in northeast Indiana.According to Centier Bank, the branch will have a modern, flexible design that includes a full-service banking team and an ATM with after-hours access. Renderings of the space reflect Centier’s emphasis on comfort, convenience, and community-focused service.The announcement follows Centier’s relocation of its downtown branch last year into its flagship building at 127 W. Berry Street. Leaders said additional expansion across the community is planned for the near future.“We’re thrilled to grow our footprint in Fort Wayne and bring Centier’s personalized service to such a convenient setting,” said Market President Doug Wood.
